We’ve got lots of cool beers on in the new space right now. Join us for comedy night at eight tonight. Grab dinner at the pub before the show?
Stop in for a beer, clear or otherwise, today?
We are looking for a few people to join our team, perhaps you are one of them? We are hiring for all FOH positions. Email matt@forestandmain.com if you are interested.
It’s a beautiful day out there, don’t forget your yard and sports time beers. We have several options in portable beer today, two saisons in green bottles (perfect for sun soaked days) tubes of IPA, and growler fills of your choice. Stop in and stock up before you start you day.
Today, April the 21st, we will have 32 ounce aluminum repositories full of hopped ale for sale. That hopped ale is called Brain Water and it’s 6% alcohol by volume and flavored with Mosaic and Grungeist hops. Happy earth day!
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
When drinking Brain Water we think of sugared pine apple cuts in a hot summer car road trip, grapefruit berry breakfast bowls in your mountaintop aviary, fucked up cantaloupe parties, a plain bagel, and lemon lollipops in the attic with scratchy Rachmaninov records rotating slowly. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Take the shiny thing, put the recording of yourself sleeping on the big plasma thing, dim the lights, do the math, pierce, sip at appropriate frequencies to make it last the length of your slumber. Watch yourself sleep, watch yourself dream. Dream of dreaming, and dream of waking. It’s all the same.

Join us for a few beers tonight. We’ve got Kevin Ripley and his trio onstage around eight.
Cask ale in the sun, tulips. ❤️
Three new beers are on today. Left to right we have Emperor Pombe, our 6th anniversary IPA, 6% hopped with Citra and Cashmere, Off to Silence, a barrel fermented saison, and A Space Eternal, a 5.5% IPA hopped with Citra and Centennial.
What a day yesterday! Thank you to all of our friends and family who came out on a gray and chilly day to party with us! Special thanks to @victorysven for the taco delivery to start the day off, @pizza_gutt for the pies, and @samgellerstein for the donuts. And thank you to @theluckywell for grilling some awesome food for the day. And thank you to all of the bands who joined us! We love you all. Here’s to many more years with you all.
Tomorrow, April the 15th, we are celebrating our sixth birthday. To mark the occasion we filled these big tubes with some yellow ale and wrapped them in paper, the design of which matches some glasses we had made, also for the day. The ale is called Emperor Pombe, and it’s a six percent ipa that lingered on some Citra and cashmere for a spell. The tubes are $13 a piece. The glasses are $10. Or! Buy them together for $20. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Emperor Pombe makes us taste, and think of, white grape juice Christmas baths, making a bowl out of an orange while listening to Iron Butterfly, lactose free milk sips while you chart your life, reaching for a mango but finding a pear instead, and everything a child wants to eat.

We hope you can come party with us tomorrow. We have a pretty cool lineup of beers, bands, and food. The weather may not be ideal but we have faith that the rain will hold until we finish up. Rain or shine, we will have bands on stage and beers flowing. We hope to see all your pretty faces. ❤️
Today, Saturday the fourteenth, we will have tubes of a Space Eternal, a new 5.5% IPA available when we open at 11:30. A Space Eternal was brewed with oats and hopped enthusiastically with Citra and Centennial. We will also have 20 odd stickers available to those who ask. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
A Space Eternal makes us think of shopping for fruit in Tallahassee with headphones on, fuzzy headphones on, vanilla sugar cookies on the couch late at night, that really good tropical trail mix, served in a hollowed our pineapple, and sun warmed rocks in the sky. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
You find birds in the strangest of places. In rooms with no windows. Long dead. In boxes in rivers, in basements, and in attics. You find birds from far away places, fast at home with you, oddly. You take birds to be messengers, to be omens, harbingers, carriers, soothers. You hear their calls, loud in the crystal silence. You hear their words, near and far. The last drip hits, and you fly away.
