Reade McCardell and Tiebreakers

Tiebreakers - a rag-tag group of friends turned quirky folk trio, Tiebreakers hails from the Huntington Valley area and play mostly original music with guitar, bass, ukulele, and sweet, sweet harmonies. They write songs that are toe-tappin'ly fun, heartbreakingly honest, and everything in between.

Reade McCardell’s been involved in music for a few small whiles now. He helped birth some strange sonic creatures with his friends in Red China in Detroit, participated in musical malpractice and magnificent kinship with the “pop-secret” outfit Fresh Cut Salads, played in a wondrous church band for a couple years, and has contributed bits and pieces of incidental music to a few very small films. Currently he’s attempting to drag some of his own wincing songs from their stagnant little nests below his psychic under-crust out into the brutal sunlight of public consumption…
