dot.gov is a five-piece improvisational rock band that was born in 2015 deep within the cinder blocks of Temple University's music department. dot.gov aspires to create a sound that is comfortably unique, historically fun, and shockingly thorough. As dot.gov has spent the last few years independently earning their stripes at local venues like World Cafe Live, Milkboy, and Bourbon & Branch, each band member has also recently performed at world-renowned concert halls such as The Kimmel Center and Lincoln Center as part of Temple's esteemed jazz and classical ensembles. Our repertoire spans many genres, from slow bluesy jams to upbeat synth pop songs. We have a few food-related songs (breakfast, cake, bananas, etc.) that we think would pair especially well with any of Forest & Main's tasty beers! dot.gov always invites audiences to share in a brain-crafted, booty approved performance at every show, bringing people back for a one-of-a-kind experience.
